Air Quality Monitoring
Foqus Fondazione Quartieri Spagnoli, Naples
Background
In the setting of the Spanish quarters of Naples, the new EDUQA educational hub was born: the first Italian school with an environmental vocation, a project of high social, educational and urban redevelopment value, which includes multifunctional spaces dedicated to cultural enjoyment.
The solution
Keeping the keywords Innovation - Well-being – Sustainability in mind, the Indoor Air Quality project was developed in collaboration with FOQUS - Fondazione Quartieri Spagnoli, choosing the WineCap™ system by Capetti Elettronica to monitor air quality parameters: indoor temperature and relative humidity, carbon dioxide concentration, and PM2.5 and PM10 particulate matter.
The result
The slogan "The essential is invisible to the eyes, like the air we breathe. Let's learn to know it" best represents the project's mission: currently unique in the Campania region, it aims to ensure a safer and healthier environment for students and teachers, who have also been provided with a training session to understand the interpretation of the data collected and, above all, what type of improvement action to undertake.
