Background
In the prestigious setting of the Défense Arena, one of the main venues for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, an advanced environmental monitoring system was implemented. The goal was to ensure optimal climatic conditions for both athletes and spectators, providing a comfortable and controlled environment throughout the entire event.
The solution
With a strong focus on Innovation - Efficiency - Precision, the environmental monitoring project was developed using Capetti Elettronica's WineCapTM data loggers. The THEE model, connected to an IP65 thermo-hygrometric probe, was chosen to measure and record variations in temperature and humidity values, enabling constant supervision of environmental parameters.
The result
The monitoring system implemented at the Défense Arena ensured a high standard of air quality control, contributing to the success of the Olympic events. The collected data can not only be used to make decisions on climate regulation but also provide valuable insights for future similar events. This initiative reflects a commitment to sustainability and technological innovation in the management of sports infrastructures.
